View Article  FRONT PAGE REVIEW ON GAMESHARK.COM "GAMERS A- DVD REVIEW"

Wow! This kicks some ass!

http://www.gameshark.com/reviews/2459/p_0/Gamers-DVD-Review.htm

Highlights from review

Gamers is as good as any big budget comedy that hit theaters in 2006. You also have to appreciate that this film was shot in a mere 6 days, an incredible accomplishment that most films aren't capable of accomplishing. In the end Gamers proves to be a funny film that real world gamers can appreciate. While many non-gamers will get a few laughs from the film, the bulk of the comedy focuses on inside jokes that D&D fans will get a kick out of. - James Fudge.

View Article  Scott Allen Rinker Profile & a little news
I want to do a plug for one of my favorite TV shows of all time "Action", it's now available on DVD, it only lasted one season, however, I though it was brilliant. Go buy it, it's worth it.

SPIKE TV "GAME HEAD" -For some reason my Tivo is saying it's going to be on this Saturday night at 9PM, so all you folks on the west coast, tune in at 9PM or set your tivo.
East Coast at 12AM to see a segment about "Gamers The Movie!"

PROFILED ACTOR
SCOTT ALLEN RINKER Plays Paul in Gamers. Out of the cast this boy was a real gamer. He coined the groups name in the movie "The Four Horsemen" and he also coined the campaign name "Urkiwan Forest" And he brought his own dice, he was the only cast member to do so.

FIRST IMPRESSIONS
The man blew me away from the moment he started his audition as Gordon. Scott can act and then some. He was cast as Paul for me the moment he read for Gordon at his audition, Scott's got those eyes man, all the great dramatic actors have those eyes that you tell you a story. We needed that for Paul, even though it was a comedy. I will someday post his audition with Kevin Kirkpatrick, it was magic and I tease the hell out of Scott about improv all the time, however, he's very good at it.

WORKING WITH SCOTT
This boy is an actor, he's a professional, very generous with other actors and he comes prepared. Scott will throw stuff at you to make his character and the scene better and better. And he did, he killed me with some classic improv moments, like
"The Comforter Of Shame" scene, where he did a fantastic job adding lines to my already perfect script and when Gordon gets jumped by the little person, Scott threw in the line, "You can still role right, right? You're golden." and my other favorite line Scott came up with, is when he finally cut lose and curses at the end of the movie when he's at paintball, that's all Scott Allen Rinker, he's a filthy foul mouth whore!

HIGHLIGHTS

I really think the man could do anything, drama, comedy, romance, he's a gifted young actor and a great guy. No ego, no bullshit, just a hard worker. I''ve learned a great deal from him working on this movie. Mainly, how to deal with other actors, he would give me advice. Most of it was bullshit, but, he tried. I'm joking he's a wise bastard...respectfully, of course.

CURRENT PROJECTS:
Scott is currently been featured in two Snapple TV commercials and he's been playing Reggie a dead thin ghost on the CBS hit show, "Ghost Whisperer".

CONCLUSION

Scott was awesome in our movie, he played the straight man who was a bit of weasel, and he pulled it off, brilliantly. I really don't think anybody else in the cast could of done his part.

This is an actor you want to see more of in bigger budget films. Go buy a ton of Snapple and write your congressman and let them know Scott Allen Rinker deserves a major Hollywood movie as the lead actor. So help me God, I will go max out another credit card, if I have too to make it happen.
